What is the sign-up process?
Simply download and begin using all of AIM Pro's professional instant messaging, video conferencing, and net meeting features.
Do I have to be an AOL or AIM subscriber to use AIM Pro?
No, AIM Pro is available to everyone with an internet connection.
Can I import my current AIM Buddy List into AIM Pro?
Yes, you can easily import your current contacts from an existing AIM Buddy List into your new AIM Pro Contact List. This will be done automatically if you are using an existing Screen Name.
How is AIM Pro integrated with my Microsoft Outlook® calendar?
If you have the Microsoft Outlook client installed, you see your Outlook meetings and appointments on the AIM Pro calendar. AIM Pro lists the details about these meetings and appointments in the reminder area at the top of the Calendar and Contacts tab.
What is Quick Contacts?
Sometimes your usual circle of work interactions widens to include members of other teams or departments. Using Quick Contacts, you can find people quickly (using your address books) and keep their information handy (such as Screen Name or email address) on Quick Contacts.
Can I make Voice and Video Calls?
By using a headset or a computer with a working microphone and speakers, you can simply call a contact and communicate through voice interaction with AIM Pro. Video conferencing can also be executed using a working computer camera, microphone and speakers.
What is Desktop Sharing?
You can use desktop sharing to show your guest your entire computer desktop -- including any applications, windows, and file directories that are currently open. You can share several applications simultaneously, share files, or share other areas of your computer, such as your file directories.
What are the AIM Pro minimum system requirements?

- - Memory: 128 MB RAM
- - Disk space: 20 MB free hard drive space (40MB of temporary space for the installation)
